Thank you for the clarity. I recently walked away from my five and one half year relationship with a covert narcissist. I just didn’t know. My ex husband was a VERY overt narcissist. At times I almost feel like throwing up as I read and read and learn more about narcissists, I can not believe I fell for a second one after the years of abuse by the first one. They were as different a night and day. Thank you for writing this essay.
