I really needed to read this very story today, right now to be reminded that I am good, and I deserve love — and not the kind of love that comes attached to abuse and gaslighting and “conditions.” It is hard to leave our abusers. We need to be strong and remember the reality of what we experienced, not just the love. Thank you.
