I had JUST put together the two words, “manipulative narcissist” to explain my ex. I never saw him as either of those things while we were together. The hindsight…wow. Thank you for explaining this so clearly, it certainly helps me understand why it took me such a long time to end things with him. Whew! I’m OUT now!!
